1. Are you a high school senior going to college?
2. Do you need $$$ to help with college expenses?
1. You must be a full time Hyde Park resident.
2. You must be graduating senior who will be attending a university/college in the Fall of 2014.
3. (1) - $500 scholarship offered for a major in Environmental Studies, Agriculture or related field.
(2) - $750 scholarships will be offered for any major.
4. Minimum of a “B” (80) average.
5. Students must:
a. Submit the completed application.
b. Submit an official high school transcript.
c. Submit a typed 300 word essay describing why you chose this area of study.
d. Submit your resume (include: clubs, activities, employment volunteering)
e. Submit an acceptance letter from their chosen university/college
The deadline for submission is April 14, 2014. The announcement of recipients will be made on or before May 1, 2014. Applications are available in the FDR Guidance Office or may be accessed on the Hyde Park Chamber CLICK HERE FOR APPLICATION
Scholarship recipients, plus one adult guest, will be invited to attend the Hyde Park Chamber of Commerce Business of the Year award dinner held May 7, 2014 to recognize this accomplishment.

It will be full of surprises, including a Wheel of Fun! We will also roll out our “90 Reasons to Visit Hyde Park”, which highlights some of our fantastic local services and attractions. The list will be available to Chamber members to promote tourism to Hyde Park. Don’t miss this breakfast – it will be a blast!
